Physics

Throughout the school boys are encouraged to develop and apply their knowledge and understanding of the subject through practical experience. Traditional training in observation and data analysis is combined with a more open-ended investigative approach. In the Second Form, boys are introduced to some of the key topics in Physics including: Forces and Motion, Energy, Light & Sound, Electricity & Magnetism and the Earth & Space. These topics are further developed in the Third Form so as to form a solid foundation from which to tackle the IGCSE course.  

In the Sixth Form we have been offering the OCR specification B (Advancing Physics) course using coursework assignments.  This may well change to AQA Spec A for this year.
