Library and Archive
All City of London School pupils are encouraged to make use of the School Library for private study, resourcing their studies and recreational reading. The Library’s normal opening hours are 8am to 5pm. It is staffed by three professional Librarians and a part-time Archivist. The Library has a stock of over 30,000 items which, in addition to books, includes DVDs, CDs, magazines, newspapers and on-line reference services. An inter-library loan service is also available. The Library has PC Workstations which give access to the School Network and the Internet. The School Archive forms part of the Library and contains documents pertaining to the history of the School and former pupils.
City of London School library regularly plays host to novelists, poets and playwrights. The gallery to the right shows some of the more recent visitors.
