THE JEWISH SOCIETY

The Jewish Society is a large and popular club with a range of activities and events. As well as morning prayers – with a deluxe breakfast twice a week – there are afternoon prayers and other events have gone from strength to strength. Once a week there is a Talmud Course for advanced study of Jewish Texts and on Thursday lunchtimes, at one o’clock, JSoc has the ever-popular ‘Nosh and Learn’ with hot food and brilliant speakers. Events and speakers are lined up well in advance for Israel Independence Day, Jerusalem Day and other key dates in the Jewish calendar.

City of London’s vibrant and exciting JSoc is thriving. JSoc is, of course, open to ALL students. JSoc events and JSoc speakers often provoke interesting questions and lively discussions
