Indoor Rowing

Indoor rowing has been thriving at City of London School in the few years since its introduction. The aim of the indoor rowing club is to improve fitness, work on technique and most importantly have fun! Boys compete in sprint races individually as well as longer relay races in teams, encouraging boys from different ages to work together. An intense weekly training session , as well as interim training in the gym in their own free time, has seen the CLS boys become leaders in this sport, notably notching up medals at the National Junior competition and the London Youth Games. Some boys have also been inspired to try outdoor rowing in their own time and have seen this as a great stepping stone. The club is open to all and is suited to anybody seeking a new challenge.
