Sporting Facilities at Grove Park

All boys spend one afternoon per week at our twenty-acre sports facility at Grove Park. City of London School has exclusive use of the site and pupils are transported there in a fleet of private hire coaches during lunchtime with boys returning by 4pm.

Grove Park is a stunning asset to the School and provides the space for physical actvity which boys require. In the centre of the grounds is a pavillion which houses changing and showering facilities as well as a dining room for post-match teas. Grove Park has a team of three groundsmen and a number of professional sports coaches join the City of London games staff to train the boys.

In the Autumn and Spring Terms the grounds are set out into five football pitches - one of which is reserved exclusively for the School's First Team.

In the Summer Term cricket squares are made available. There is also space for: a 400 metre grass running track, long jump and triple jump pits, a shot put enclosure, a discus cage, a javelin zone and softball pitches.
