Old Grammar, First and Second Forms
Boys in the Old Grammar Form study Mathematics, English, Science, Geography, History, Classical Civilisation, PSHE, ICT, Religious Education, DVA, Music, Drama and there are periods for P.E. and swimming. Old Grammar is the equivalent of Year 6 - ie for boys who enter the School at age 10+.
The First Year is divided into four parallel Forms: and there is a
similar division in the Second Year. All boys follow the same syllabus in all subjects. The First Forms follow an integrated Science course: in the Second Forms the three Sciences are taught separately. No previous knowledge of French or Latin is assumed.
