Cross-Country

Cross-Country is very much a recreational sport at CLS, although some boys do enter inter-borough events such as the Mini-Marathon.

On Wednesdays a small group of runners, accompanied by staff, run along the Embankment then through the parks of central London, around the Serpentine in Hyde Park, then back to school. There are several different ability groups according to the speed of pupils.

On Thursday lunchtimes and Monday lunchtimes there is a shorter session open to all ages. This group travels along the Embankment to the Houses of Parliament and backagain.
